Hillwalking is an adventure sport and not devoid of an element of risk. To minimise risk be prepared; boots, rucksack, waterproofs, a packed lunch, hot drink, warm hat, gloves etc.
The MCI recognises that participants in hillwalking should be aware of and accept any risks and be responsible for their own actions and involvement.
