Dungarvan Hillwalking Club would like to announce that the 2026 Comeragh Crossing & Challenge Walks is moving from its traditional date of the first weekend in July to the second weekend and will take place on Saturday, 11th July 2026.
Details for entries and bookings will be released soon.
We very much look forward to hosting all participants on their chosen walk:
- Comeragh Challenge (45km, 1950M, unmarked)
- Comeragh Crossing (35km, 1400M, marked)
- Nire Valley Walk (20km, guided)
- Kilbrien Walk (12km, guided)

This is the Club’s biggest annual charity fundraising event and we are proud to confirm that all profits will be donated across our three chosen charities: South Eastern Mountain Rescue, Waterford Hospice and Dungarvan Lions Club.
